ABOUT US

Spire Squared

Who Are We

We are a provider of semi-independent accommodation and support for young people and those leaving care providing a high quality and flexible service for both the young person and their commissioning local authority.

We offer semi-independent accommodation to vulnerable young individuals and families aged 16+ who have a variety of support needs.

With flexible packages of support from fully trained, and professional key workers, we support young people to gain the living skills they need to make the successful transition to independent living.

  • Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children
  • Children, who have been living in residential settings or foster families and are ready to transition to independent living
  • Young people leaving young offender institutions
  • Placement breakdowns
  • We have designated emergency bed spaces that are available for Care Leavers Placement breakdowns
  • Weekend Respite which provide all the services
  • Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children

We assist each young person with their transition through an individually tailored support package that is reviewed on a regular basis. The level of support a young person receives is determined by their assessed needs and risks. We provide a flexible amount of support for everyday tasks or for young people with more complex needs, we can deliver a comprehensive support package with up to 24-hours support per day.

We also offer move-on services to help residents find and maintain their own independent accommodation, as well as floating support and community outreach services where we provide one-to-one or group support to young people in the community (who don’t live in our properties).

The level of key worker support that we allocate depends on the young person’s level of need. This can range from limited support, to more extensive 1:1 support or 2:1 support requiring up to 24-hour care.
